Elite Wax Academy VA State Board approved?

 

• Elite Wax Academy is State Board recognized and approved as an educational facility where students can obtain their "Wax Tech" license through the Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation (DPOR)

Who regulates VA wax techs in the Commonwealth of VA?

 

• The Virginia Board for Barbers and Cosmetology is responsible for licensing and Regulation.

 

Do you need any Prerequisite?

• There are no course requirements prior to starting class.
   

When can you take the state board, wax tech license exam ?

 

• Upon graduation of your course, Elite Wax Academy will submit your completed hours to DPOR.

 

• Afterwards you will create an account with "PSI" and they will direct you on the next step to take the licensure exam.

 

• PSI fee is currently $86 for Practical Exam and $86 for Theory Exam, which is non-refundable and non-transferable and is valid for 1 year after date of payment. *This fee must be paid at the student’s expense*
